Dexter R. Wise of Malden died Saturday, September 27th. Born in Medford, MA, he was the son of the late Dexter L. and Marguerite (Farley) Wise. After serving in the U.S. navy he was employed as a chef.
Dexter was the beloved husband of Marie (Tanner) Wise and devoted father of Kathy Theodos and her husband Jim of Tewksbury, Kristine Touayl and her husband Simo of Methuen, Robert Wise and his wife Valerie of Medford, and the late Kevin Wise. He was the loving grandfather of Alyssa, Drew, and Nick Theodos, Jessica, Jaimie, Danielle, and Rachael Touayl, Sean, Christopher, Christina, Abby, and Cassie Wise. He was the loving great grandfather of Joshua Defatima and brother of Richard Wise of Florida and Vermont, Margaret Perry of Wilmington, and the late James, Donald and William Wise.
Funeral from the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., MEDFORD Thursday at 9:00 AM followed by a funeral mass celebrated in St. Raphael Church, 512 High St., Medford, at 10:00 AM. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours Wednesday from 4 through 8 PM. Services will conclude with burial at Oak Grove Cemetery, Medford.
