Gloria Jean Wilkerson Robinson, 65, of Tifton died Sunday, September 28, 2014, at the Rehabilitation Center of South Georgia in Tifton. Her funeral service will be held at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday, October 1, 2014, at Oakey Grove Baptist Church in Berrien County with Rev. W. E. Fogarty officiating. Mrs. Robinson will be laid to rest at Oakey Grove Baptist Church Cemetery in Berrien County. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, September 30, 2014, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Bowen-Donaldson Home for Funerals.
Cody Fogarty, Daniel Conger, Lewis White, Tommy Conger, David Fogarty and Patrick Futrill will serve as pallbearers.
Mrs. Robinson was born on February 22, 1949 in Wilcox County (Abbeville) and was the daughter of David Clark Wilkerson and Louise White Wilkerson of Rebecca, both deceased. She was also preceded in death by one brother, Allan Wilkerson. She was a retired bookkeeper and a member of Unity Baptist Church in Tifton.
Mrs. Robinson is survived by her husband, Wayne Robinson of Tifton; two sons and daughters-in-law, David Bryan and Regina Robinson of Vanceville and Robert and Melinda Robinson of Enigma; two daughters and sons-in-law, Karen and Tommy Conger of Tifton and Cynthia and Lewis White of Brookfield; one brother and sister-in-law, Brian and Sonja Wilkerson of Poulan; two sisters, Vivian McDuffie and Debbie Wilkerson, both of Irwinville; eleven grandchildren, Brandy, Chris, Shandi, Eric, Heather, Daniel, Hailey, Mylee, Cody, Cannon and Braydon; and 21 great-grandchildren.
