Worcester- Brian O’Day, 55, of Worcester, died Monday, Nov. 29, in UMass-Memorial Medical Center, after a long illness.
He leaves a daughter, Sally O’Day of Worcester; three brothers, Stephen, William, and Francis O’Day, all of Worcester; a sister, Denise Barber and her husband Richard of Napa, CA; nephews and nieces. He was born in Worcester, son of William L. and Alice E. (Carey) O’Day, and lived here all his life.
He attended local schools and graduated from Blackstone Valley Technical High School.
He worked as an automotive technician at various local businesses. Brian was an avid Harley Davidson enthusiast.
Funeral services and burial in St. John’s Cemetery will be private.
At Brian’s request, the family invites relatives and friends to join them in an afternoon of remembrance, Saturday, Dec. 4, from 2 to 6 p.m. at the Vernon Hill American Legion Post 435, 267 Providence St.
