Belmont-----Della L. Laraway, 87, of Turkey Drive, died at the Belknap County Nursing Home on Thursday, September 25, 2014.
Mrs. Laraway was born February 22, 1927 in Hardwick, Vermont, the daughter of the late William and Violet (Leonard) Weeks.
Mrs. Laraway resided in Laconia for forty years before moving to Belmont twenty-three years ago. She had been employed at Vernitron and Walmart before retiring in 2007. During the 1960’s and 1970’s, Mrs. Laraway was involved with foster parenting.
Survivors include two sons, Roger J. Laraway and his wife, Lila, of Belmont and Robert F. Laraway and his wife, Deborah, of Tilton, eight grandchildren, April, Perley, Virginia, Robert, Hannah, Jessica, Carmen and Paul; 11 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Laraway was predeceased by her husband, Perley F. Laraway in 2001and by four brothers, William, Henry, Charles and David and a sister, Catherine.
There will be no calling hours.
A Graveside Service will be held on Saturday, October 4, 2014 at 1PM at the family lot in Bayside Cemetery, Laconia, N.H.
