George P. Keisling, Jr., 80, died Monday, September 22, 2014, in the Philip Hulitar Hospice Inpatient Center, Providence. He had been married for 33 years to Elizabeth Ann (Feeney) Flynn-Keisling and he was the husband of the late Frances (McGowan) Keisling.
Born in Pawtucket, the son of the late George and Elizabeth (Hartley) Keisling, Sr. He was a Tool Maker for the former Uvex Manufacturing before retiring. He was a member of Mount Moriah Masonic Lodge #8, Lincoln.
He is survived by his children, George P. Keisling, III, of Bradenton, FL, Lori DelPonte and her husband Stephen of Knoxville, TN, his stepchildren, Diane Giambazi and her husband, Michael of North Providence, Maureen Szczepanek, and her husband Jeffrey of Seekonk, and Capt. Brian Flynn, SFD and his wife Stephanie of Greenville and Rosemary Mulcahey and her husband, Thomas, SFD of Glocester, nine grandchildren:Justin, Matthew, Kevin, Sean, Kyle, Raymond, Marissa, Meghan and Ryan and two great-grandchildren, Kyle and Kaelin.
His funeral service will be held Wednesday in the Anderson-Winfield Funeral Home, Route 44 at Greenville Common, Greenville. Burial will follow in Highland Park Cemetery, Johnston. Visitation Wednesday 10-11 am. In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory may be made to Home and Hospice Care of RI, 1085 North Main Street, Providence, RI 02904.
