Dorothy (Teves) Ramos, 89, of Fairhaven died September 21, 2014, surrounded by her family, at Alden Court Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.
She was the wife of Albert P. Ramos.
Born and raised in New Bedford, the daughter of the late Francisco F. and Inez (Almeida) Teves, she moved to Fairhaven in 1955.
Mrs. Ramos was a communicant of St. Joseph's Church in Fairhaven.
Her family would like to thank the staff of Alden Court for the loving care given to Dorothy.
Survivors include her husband; a daughter, Cynthia Donovan and her husband Andrew of Fairhaven; 2 grandchildren, Audra Donovan and Brianne Donovan; a great-granddaughter, Kiya Doberck.
She was the sister of the late Olive Peters, Mary Moreno, Priscilla Sylvia, Arcenio Furtado, and Hilda Costa.
Her Funeral will be held on Wednesday, September 24th at 9 AM from the Saunders-Dwyer Mattapoisett Home for Funerals, 50 County Rd., Route 6, Mattapoisett, followed by her Funeral Mass at St. Joseph's Church, Fairhaven at 10 AM. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery. Visiting hours will be on Tuesday, September 23rd from 4-8 PM.
