Jeffrey Finch, lifelong resident of Raynham, passed away suddenly on September 15, 2014 at age 46.
A passionate philanthropist, Jeff is remembered for his infectious laugh, eager ear, and helping hand.
The happiness and fulfillment he found in life speaks to the heart of Jeff and was so humbly acquired through helping others.
Jeff's lengthy involvement in charitable causes in the community, including Secret Santa Toy Drive and Raynham Food Basket, gave him the opportunity to do what he lived for.
Having such a close knit family inspired Jeff to personally purchase dozens of turkeys to donate so those in need could have the kind of family holidays that the Finch family so closely valued.
Following in his late father's footsteps (Retired Taunton PD) Jeff was a proud former employee of the Raynham Police Dept. and enjoyed working with his pal Louis "Lou" Pacheco.
Jeff is at peace and reunited with his beloved late parents Wayne & Carol Finch and cousin, Fay "Nicky" (Pacheco) Voci and his Meem.
Jeff leaves behind a large family including his two adoring sisters, Kristin McGovern and Jill Finch of Raynham; nephews Nicholas Finch, Casey Finch & Ryan McGovern; aunts and uncles George & Joan Pacheco, Robert & Robyn Pacheco, Jody Finch of Raynham & Betty "Cindy" Soares of Easton, cousins Kevin Pacheco, Kim Pacheco, Joshua Pacheco, & Cheyenne Pacheco of Raynham, and many more relatives thanks to a larger than listable but most valued paternal family, and countless folks who consider him friend.
The outpouring of sympathy from the entire community has not only warmed the hearts of his family but is a true testament to just how many people were touched by the life of Jeffrey Finch.
His funeral will be held from the Silva Funeral Home, 80 Broadway, Taunton on Monday, Sept. 22nd at 8 a.m. followed by a funeral mass at Holy Family Church, East Taunton at 10 a.m.
Burial will be at St. Joseph Cemetery.
