Jean T.Oliver, 84, of Chopmist Hill Road in Chepachet, died Monday surrounded by her family, September 15, 2014 at Hospice Inpatient Center in Providence.
Born in Providence, a daughter of the late John F. and Dorothy R. (Girard) Kitson, she lived in Chepachet most of her life.
Jean worked for the former Theresa Creations in Johnston until retirement. She loved to read, crochet, cross stich and create photo albums.
She is survived by her children: Linda J. Rouleau and her husband, Dennis of Chepachet, Janet I. Harris and her husband, Eric Jorgensen of Enfield, CT and James J. “Jimmy” Oliver and his wife, Diane of Foster; her grandchildren; Steven and Tricia Rouleau, Jodi Harris, Jennifer Nash, Jillian Janecka, and Cody and Bethany Oliver; great grandchildren; Justyna Barlow, Danielle Rouleau, Emily, Connor and Ian Nash and Adelaide Trotter and two brothers, Robert H. and Raymond W. Kitson both of Chepachet. She was the sister of the late John F. and Richard J. Kitson
Her funeral service will be held Tuesday at 11:30am in the ANDERSON-WINFIELD Funeral Home, Route 44 at Greenville Common, Greenville, RI. Burial in Acotes Hill Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to the Home and Hospice Care of RI, 1085 North Main Street, Providence, RI 02904.
