Obituary

CHICOPEE – Eva D. (LeBlanc) Conley Daviau, 72, of the Willimansett section of Chicopee, was Called Safely Home on Monday, September 15, 2014. She passed into Eternal Life at Baystate Medical Center in Springfield surrounded by the care and comfort of her loving family. She was born in Holyoke on March 15, 1942, a beloved daughter of the late Armand and Stella (Rousseau) LeBlanc. She was raised in South Hadley and lived there for many years before moving to the Willimansett section of Chicopee in 1981. She was last employed as a book binder at the Eureka Blank Book Company in Holyoke. During her leisure time, Eva enjoyed the simple things in life. She enjoyed weaving place mats, crocheting, yarn crafts, punch art, camping and meeting up with her friends for a good game of bingo. Most of all, she was a wonderful homemaker to her large family and showered them with her love and affection which was returned to her a thousand fold. She was a communicant of Saint Patrick Church in South Hadley. She was predeceased by her former first husband, Donnie L. Conley; her beloved second husband, Charles E. Daviau; her loving brother, Ronald LeBlanc; and her loving sister, Diane LeBlanc. She leaves her six devoted children, Donna L. Dubuc of South Hadley, Diane E. Adamson and her husband, Sean, of East Otis, Deborah L. Conley of South Hadley, Robert P. Conley and his wife, Lesvia, of Greenfield, Donald K. Conley of Chicopee, and James A. Conley and his wife, Becky, of Westland, MI; her loving step-sons, Louis Daviau and his wife, Leabeth, of Missoula, MT, and Charles R. Daviau of Holyoke; her 16 cherished grandchildren; her four cherished great-grandchildren; her dear brothers, Henry LeBlanc of South Hadley, Louis LeBlanc and his wife, Betty, of Homosassa Springs, FL, Francis LeBlanc and his partner, Nancy Leone, of Chicopee, and Leonard LeBlanc of South Hadley; her dear sister-in-law, Sandra LeBlanc-Casino of Chicopee; and her many dear nephews, nieces, cousins, and extended members of the Daviau, Conley, and LeBlanc families. Her Funeral Service will be held on Saturday morning, September 20, 2014 at 11 a.m. at the St. Pierre – Phaneuf Fairview Chapels, (413-533-3307), 506 Britton Street, Chicopee, MA 01020. Her burial will be private at the convenience of her family at Notre Dame Cemetery, 63 Lyman Street, South Hadley, MA 01075. Her family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday morning, September 20, 2014 from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. before the service. The parking lot is located in the rear of the funeral home.
