Edna M. Hall, 98, of Pleasant View Avenue, Smithfield, died Saturday, September 13, 2014 in the Hospice Intake Center, Providence. She was the wife of the late Edwin N. Hall.
Born in Coventry, a daughter of the late Gustave and Sophia (Flink) Olson. She had lived in Smithfield previously living Foster for 70 years. Mrs. Hall had been a kitchen worker for the former Ricciardi’s Nursing Home before retiring. She had been a member of the Hopkins Mills Church and was past President of the ladies auxiliary, South Foster Fire Company.
She leaves her son, Richard E. Hall of Greenville, 11 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren and 3 great great-grandchildren. She was the mother of the late Robert E. Hall and Elizabeth Rathburn.
A Memorial Service to which relatives and friends are invited will be held Thursday, September 18, 2014 at 1pm in the Anderson- Winfield Funeral Home, Route 44 at Greenville Common, Greenville.
