Mary Nell Arnett, 81, of Fitzgerald died Friday, September 12, 2014, at Life Care Center in Fitzgerald. Funeral services will be held at 4:00 p.m. on Monday, September 15, 2014, in the Chapel of Bowen-Donaldson Home for Funerals with Rev. Ray Downing officiating. Ms. Arnett will be laid to rest at Oak Ridge Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Sunday, September 14, 2014, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Bowen-Donaldson Home for Funerals.
Ms. Arnett was born on May 20, 1933 in Tift County and was the daughter of Jesse Bonner Arnett and Mary Allena Baker Arnett, both deceased. She was also preceded in death by one son, Ronnie Arnett; and one brother, Herbert Arnett. She was a sitter for the elderly and a Pink Lady. She was also a member of the 49’er’s Traveling Club.
Ms. Arnett is survived by one brother and sister-in-law, Jesse H. and Dixie Arnett of Tifton.
