LARRY WAYNE HOUGLAN, SR., 62, passed away on September 11, 2014.
He was an employee of Interpolymer Corp., a 20 year volunteer with South Dixie Fire Dept. where he served as Fire Chief for a short time and an Army Reserve veteran.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Doris and Norman Houglan, Sr.
Larry is survived by his devoted wife of 23 years, Sheila Ruth (Alvey) Houglan; his sons, Larry Wayne Houglan, Jr., William Aubrey Houglan and Seth Joseph Lee Houglan; his brother, Norman Houglan, Jr. (Judy) and sisters, Sandy Houglan Fields (Rick) and Lea Ann Houglan Robbins (Rick).
Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Tuesday at Owen Funeral Home, 5317 Dixie Highway with burial in Bethany Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 2 – 8 p.m. Monday and 11 a.m. – 1 p.m. Tuesday.
