Juanita A. Alwes of Louisville, passed away September 8, 2014 at her home. She was the daughter of the late, Louis P. and Hilda Conrad. She was a Navy veteran of W.W. II, and a Catholic by faith. She is survived by her daughters, Marie Wilson (Larry), Kathleen Hoogland (Bill) and Diana Webb (Jerry); her sons, Harold “Skip” Alwes (Linda) and Kevin Alwes; 12 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren. Funeral service will be at 11:00 A.M. on Friday at Owen Funeral Home, 5317 Dixie Highway with burial in Kentucky Veterans Cemetery Central. Visitation will be Thursday at 2:00 – 8:00 P.M. at the funeral home. Donations may be made to the charity of your choice.
