LUDLOW - Paul A. Lombardi, 84, of Ludlow, was Called Safely Home on Saturday, August 16, 2014. He passed into Eternal Life at Noble Hospital in Westfield surrounded by all the memories that he loved and cherished. He was born in Holyoke on January 4, 1930, a son of the late Angelo and Madalene (Montemagni) Lombardi. He was raised in Chicopee, graduated from Chicopee High School and had resided in Chicopee for a short time before moving to Ludlow many years ago. He served his country in the United States Air Force during the Korean and Vietnam Wars and retired as a Master Sergeant after 48 years of service to his country. He was employed in the Maintenance Department at Monsanto Company in the Indian Orchard section of Springfield. Above all, he showered his family with his love and affection that was returned to him a thousand fold. He leaves his beloved son, Dean F. Lombardi and his wife, Wandamae, of Los Angeles, CA; his seven dear brothers and sisters, Chiara Webster and her husband, Gene, of Fresno, CA, Neil Lombardi and his wife, Laurie, of Chicopee, Julio Lombardi and his partner, Linda, of Feeding Hills, Robert Lombardi and his wife, Lorraine, of Chicopee, Linda Wogan and her husband, Michael, of Haddonfield, NJ, Kathleen Breault and her husband, Paul, of Chicopee, and Michael Lombardi and his partner, Cathy, of Chicopee; and his many dear nephews, nieces, cousins and extended members of the Lombardi and Montemagni families.
