Obituary

Spencer: Cindy A. (Haskell) Rose, 57, of 13 Donnelly Road, died Tuesday, Sept. 2 at St. Vincent Hospital in Worcester after an illness. She leaves her husband of 35 years, Stanley W. Rose, a daughter Caroline A. Rose of Tuxedo Park, NY, her father Weston W. Haskell of Sequim, Washington, two brothers Patrick Haskell and his wife Lisa of Austin, TX, and Walter Haskell and his wife Britta of Leander, TX. , her mother-in-law Shirley Rose of Spencer, MA, her brother-in-law Steven Rose and his wife Christine of Spring Hill, FL, and several nieces and nephews. Born in Walnut Creek, Calif. she was the daughter of the late Dorothea (Gosnell) Haskell.

Cindy was very active as a member of the Leicester Congregation of Jehovah’s Witnesses. For the past 15 years she served as a Regular Pioneer helping people to come to know the Bible. She was also a member of the Regional Building Committee of Jehovah’s Witnesses since 1983, volunteering to help build places of worship and doing disaster relief work in the US and abroad.

A Memorial Talk will be given on Saturday, October 11, 2014 at 2:00PM at the Kingdom Hall in Cherry Valley. At her request, there are no calling hours. Memorial donations may be made to: Leicester Congregation of Jehovah’s Witnesses, 3 Chapel Street, Cherry Valley, MA, 01611.
