Sheila M. Gosselin, age 82 of Chicopee and formerly of Belchertown, passed away peacefully at home on Sept 5, 2014 with family at her side. She is predeceased by her parents Ronald and Kathleen Savage and her former husband George. Sheila was a US Navy Veteran. She leaves 3 children, George and his wife Gwen Gosselin of Chicopee, Linda and her husband Mike Galat of Plainfield and Vicki and her husband Richard Garwacki of CA; 10 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild; 6 nieces and nephews, a brother Michael of CA and a cooking sister in law Rita “Ta-Da” Gosselin of Chicopee. Sharing Sheila’s passing into new life will take place at the Grise Funeral Home, 280 Springfield St Chicopee at 10 AM on Thurs., Sept 11, 2014 followed by a Memorial Mass at 11 AM in St Patrick’s Church in Chicopee. Burial will be private at the convenience of the family. Calling Hours will be held on Wed Sept 10, 2014 from 4 to 7 PM at the funeral home.
