Claire Y. Duhaime 87, of Concord, NH, died Sunday, September 7, 2014 after a period of declining health.
She was born in Manchester on March 4, 1927 to Emile and Victora (Desaulniers) Houle and had resided in the city for most of her life.
She loved traveling with her husband, enjoyed cooking for her family and spending time with them. She volunteered at the Elliot hospital for many years. She was the youngest of nine children.
She was the owner and operator of the Beauty Bar for over 50 years.
Members of her family include a daughter, Jeanne Talbot and her husband Jerry of Concord; a grandson, Timothy John Talbot; two great-grandchildren Emily and Rachel and their mother Karen Talbot; several sisters-in-law; 1 brother in-law; and several nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by her husband Marcel Duhaime in 2010.
Funeral services will be private at the convenience of the family.
