Obituary

Wanda Josephine (Piszcz) Zwolinski, 81, of Somerset, MA passed away on September 7, 2014. Her husband Michael of 59 years preceded her in death by three weeks. She was born in Fall River, MA, the daughter of the late Andrew and Blanche (Misek) Piszcz. She leaves behind her four children, Susan Perkins (Greg) of E. Greenwich, RI, Michael (Cathy) of Westford, MA, Steven (Kathleen) of Woodstock, GA, and Kristine Ginsberg (Bruce) of Westwood, MA, as well as twelve grandchildren. She also leaves behind a sister, Josephine Pytel of Fall River, and two brothers, Edward Piszcz of Somerset and Andrew Piszcz of Fall River.
Wanda was a lifetime parishioner of St Stanislaus Parish, a member of St Stanislaus Seniors, the Holy Rosary Society, and danced with the church’s Krakowiak polish dance group. She worked as one of the Pierogi Ladies making food for the annual parish festival. For her entire life she was devoted to her Catholic faith and her family.
Baci treasured her children and grandchildren. She enlivened, inspired, and comforted all. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends.
Friends and relatives are invited to calling hours on Thursday, September 11, from 8:00 - 9:30 AM at the BOYKO MEMORIAL FUNERAL HOME (www.boykomemorial.com), 709 Broadway, Fall River, MA., followed by a Mass of Christian Burial that will be held at St. Stanislaus Church on Rockland Street in Fall River at 10 AM. Burial will be at Notre Dame Cemetery, Fall River, MA.
