Obituary

Omer G. Gagnon, 84, passed away at his home on Friday evening September 5, 2014. He was born in Berlin on February 2, 1930, a son of the late Euclide and Emelia (Lafrance) Gagnon. He grew up in Berlin and had resided in West Milan before moving to Gorham in 2000. Omer had worked for Kelly’s Trucking for 27 years and helped build the parking lot on Mt. Washington and also helped clear the Autoroad for 19 years. He was a member of St. Anne Church of Good Shepherd Parish and enjoyed Kubota tractors.

Members of his family include his wife Pansy (O’Hara McKinley)Gagnon of Gorham, his children and step-children Donna Nicholson and friend Michael Eastman, Diane Oliver and husband Mike, Scott McKinley and friend Sue Smith, Deb McKinley and friend Linda Larocque, Nancy Miller and husband Ted, Sue Browning and husband Dave, Diane Labbe and husband Mike, Pauline Labbe and husband Ken and Sandra Gagnon; sisters Elizabeth Chaisson of Northfield, NH, Clara Collins and husband George of Berlin and Theresa Holmes of Gorham; brothers, Raoul Gagnon and his wife Louise of Dummer, NH and Richard Gagnon and his wife Claire of Webster, NH; grandchildren and great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his first wife Therese (Routhier) Gagnon, sons Michael Gagnon and infant Steven Gagnon; sisters Margaret Gagnon and Juliette Dubreuil and a brother Joseph Gagnon.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday September 11, 2014 at 10 AM at St. Anne Church of Good Shepherd Parish. Interment will follow in the Mt. Calvary Cemetery. Relatives and friends may call at the Bryant Funeral Home, 180 Hillside Ave., Berlin on Wednesday evening from 6 to 8 PM. In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory may be made to the Northwoods Home Health and Hospice, 278 Main St., Lancaster, NH, 03584.
