Obituary

LEICESTER: Alphonse W. “Willie” Robidoux, 92, of Siani Road in the Rochdale section of Leicester died Saturday, Sept. 6 in the Life Care Center of Auburn.

He leaves his wife of 66 years, Marguerite F. “Peggy” (Bachand) Robidoux; two daughters Deborah A. Addario and her husband Frank of Exeter, NH and Pamela A. DiScipio and her husband (Robert) of Auburn, a brother Joseph Robidoux and his wife Toni of Rochdale; two sisters Anne Houle and her husband Jerry of North Oxford and Annette Derian and her husband Karney of New York; four grandchildren Michelle Addario, Renee Evelyn, Stephen DiScipio and Christine Penzone; six great-grandchildren Audrey, Nathaniel, Spencer, Mia, Olivia and James and several nieces and nephews.

Mr. Robidoux was born in Worcester, son of Joseph and Victoria (Courtemarch) Robidoux. He served his country in the United States Navy during WW II and the Korean Conflict. He was a supervisor for the Massachusetts Turnpike Authority for 36 years retiring in 1990. He was a member of St. Aloysius- St. Jude Church and the Rochdale VFW Post 7556. He was very proud of the fact that he built his own home for his family. He enjoyed gardening and spending time with his family. He loved the United States Flag.

The funeral will be held Tuesday, Sept. 9 from MORIN FUNERAL HOME, 1131 Main Street, Leicester with a Mass at 11:00 AM in St. Aloysius-St. Jude Church, 491 Pleasant Street, Leicester. Burial with Military Honors will follow in Notre Dame Cemetery, Worcester. Calling hours will precede the funeral from 8:30-10:30 AM in the funeral home. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association of MA/NH, 480 Pleasant Street, Watertown, MA 02472.
