Obituary

DRISCOLL Maura J. of Dedham, formerly of St. Mark’s Parish, Dorchester and West Roxbury, passed away unexpectedly on September 4, 2014. Maura was born in Dorchester on December 7, 1971, the beloved daughter of Timothy J. and Breda (O’Donoghue) Driscoll both from County Cork, Ireland. She received her bachelor’s degree from Worcester State College, her master’s degree from Boston College, and was a licensed social worker. Maura was a kind and caring person who went above and beyond to help anyone and everyone in need. She was extremely loving and compassionate to her parents and her siblings. Her radiant smile was matched by her caring heart. She deeply loved her nieces and nephew, and they always looked forward to visits from Auntie Maura. She was also a loyal mother to her two pet dogs Lucky and Lewy, and equally enjoyed their love for her.

In addition to her parents, Maura is survived by two sisters: Margaret Driscoll Conole and her husband David, and Kathleen Driscoll all of Dedham, three brothers: Timothy Driscoll and his wife Jasmine of Westwood, John Driscoll of Stamford CT, and Robert Driscoll and his wife Christine of Franklin, two nieces Kelly and Hannah Driscoll, a nephew Damian Driscoll, and many aunts, uncles, cousins, and loving friends.

Funeral from the George F. Doherty & Sons Wilson-Cannon Funeral Home 456 High St. Dedham Monday at 8am. Funeral Mass in St. Mary of the Assumption Church, 420 High St., Dedham, at 9am. Relatives and friends kindly invited. Visiting hours Sunday from 4-8pm. Interment St. Joseph Cemetery, West Roxbury
