Robert J. ‘Jimmy’ Webb, 60, passed away peacefully at the Kaplan House in Danvers on Thursday, September 3, 2014 with his companion and husband for 31 years, Gary W. Gill and feline companions Brighton, Russell and Fiona by his side.
He was the son of the late Donald and Doris (Marquis) Webb of Danvers. Jimmy served with the U. S. Air Force from September, 1971 through August, 1975.
He was the brother of Donald Webb and wife Lin, John Webb and wife Joan, Stephen, Suzanne & Michael Webb, Kathleen Hudson and husband Craig, Paulette Wilbur and husband Dave, Peter Webb and wife Sarah, Kevin & Thomas Webb, Jacqueline Cantone and husband Peter, Matthew Webb, Mary Ellen Schuster and husband Bill, Patrick Webb and wife Barbara. He also leaves an aunt, Anita Webb and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Jimmy’s last hours were spent surrounded by close family members, Paulette & Dave, Mary Ellen & Bill, Patrick & Barbara and his close friends Dave & Marta Breed, Pam Lane, Heidi Webb and husband Marshall and Mary Margaret Moore and wife Marcia. He was predeceased by many aunts and uncles of the Webb and Marquis families.
Relatives and friends are invited to his visiting hours on Sunday, September 7, 2014 from 2:00 to 6:00 P.M. at the Levesque Funeral Home, 163 Lafayette St. [Rt. 114 / 1-A] Salem. His Memorial Service will be on Monday at 10:00 A.M. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Northeast Animal Shelter, 347 Highland Ave., Salem, MA 01970.
