Obituary

Kathleen “Kitty” (Davis) McDuffie Waldner, 72, passed away Wednesday September 3, 2014 at University of Louisville Hospital.

She was born in Louisville, Ky to William & Louise (Stifel) Davis, who preceded her in death.

“Kitty” graduated from Ursuline Academy of Louisville and worked at the Flagship restaurant at the Galt House, and later she worked at Jack Fry's. She took her years of experience and opened her own place, Miss Kitty's Bar & Grill in PRP. She was loved by many and so many more will miss her and cherish the memories they made together...

Kitty was an avid UK basketball fan and would never miss watching a game. She collected UK prints and hung them with pride in her restaurant and later in her home.

Survivors include her Husband of 23 years Paul Waldner; her children: Karen Hodge (Mark), Toni Waldner, Louie McDuffie (Elizabeth),
Amanda Bell (Keith) and Brian Waldner (Suzanne Meers); 11 Grandchildren and 2 Great Grandchildren ; a Brother: Richard Davis (Sharon); and longtime friend: Wanda Vincent.

A Memorial Celebration will be held at 6:00 PM Sunday at Owen Funeral Home, 5317 Dixie Hwy., with cremation to follow.

Memorial visitation will be Sunday 2:00 – 6:00 PM.
