WORCESTER___Alina M. (Brzywczy) Korczynski, 77, of 7 Beckman St., died Thursday Nov. 25 in Radius Health Care, 119 Providence St.
She leaves her husband of 58 years, Zbigniew Z. Korczynski; a son, Eugene Korczynski and his wife Linda of Holden; a sister, Zofia Anusevicius of Brunswick, GA; two granddaughters, Amy Korczynski and Lori Korczynski; and a nephew George Anusevicius. She was predeceased by a brother, Zygmunt Brisko. She was born in Warsaw, Poland daughter of Stanislaw and Stanislawa Brzywczy and later lived in Germany before moving here in 1949.
Mrs. Korczynski worked many years as a group leader for Astra Pharmaceuticals and as a group leader for Brown Shoe Co. She retired several years ago. Alina was a member of Our Lady of Czestochowa Church.
The funeral will be held on Monday Nov. 29 from HENRY-DIRSA FUNERAL HOME, 33 Ward St., with a Mass at 10:30 a.m. in Our Lady of Czestochowa Church, 34 Ward St. Entombment will follow in Notre Dame Cemetery Mausoleum. Calling hours in the funeral home are Sunday Nov. 28 from 4 to 6 p.m.
