Obituary

Anthony T. Olivo, 73 of Fall River, formerly of Pawtucket, RI, passed on August 28, 2014. He leaves his wife, Candice Viveiros-Olivo. Their 29th anniversary which will be in November, were the best 29 yrs. of her life. His father, the late Antonio Olivo was born in Sicily and met his mother, the late Emma Olivo in RI. He leaves two brothers, Richard of FL and Joseph of Swansea, and his sister, the late Marion Butler. He leaves his father-in-law, John and Lorraine Viveiros, his late mother-in-law, Margaret “Tina” Viveiros; two brother-in-laws, Phillip and Joan Viveiros, Paul and Carol Viveiros; his step daughter, Nikki Nunes; step grandchildren, Rachel Nunes, Anthony Nunes, and Michael Thompson. Their laughter and love will always remain in “Pep’s” heart.

Anthony worked for the former Newman-Cosby Steel Mill in RI for over 30 yrs. Anthony loved his fun and crazy socks, so I ask you as you enter the church, to select a pair and take that final walk with him. Without a doubt, coming in your summer casual clothes would put a smile on his face, please.

My very special husband will be greatly missed and I am at peace knowing that this loving hardworking man has the peace and rest that he so rightly deserves.

After cremation, a mass will be said on Sep. 6th at 11:00 A.M. in St. Dominic’s Church, 1277 GAR Highway, Rte. 6, Swansea, MA. Please Omit Flowers. A card of a special memory of Anthony or Donations would be appreciated to: St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital, PO Box 50, Memphis, TN 38108-9929.
