Angelo M. Furtado, age 64, of Fall River, passed away September 1st 2014 surrounded by his loving family. Born in Ponta Graçia, São Miguel, Açores, he was the loving husband of Maria Helena (DaCosta) Furtado and son of the late Angelo and Maria Furtado. He loved fishing, yard work and most of all he was a great dad and loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren.
Angelo was a loving father to Helena M. Furtado, Flavio M. Furtado, Beverly Furtado and Michelle Furtado all of Fall River and grandfather to Shaleen H. Furtado, Tyra Leite, Veronica S. Fisher and Corryn B. Fisher. He also leaves behind many nieces and nephews.
His funeral will take place from the MANUEL ROGERS & SONS FUNERAL HOME 1521 N. Main St. Fall River on SATURDAY here at 8 A.M. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial St. Michael’s Church at 9 A.M. Interment in St. Patrick’s Cemetery. Calling hours on FRIDAY from 4-8 P.M. www.rogersfuneral.com.
