Annette C. (Lapointe) Lesiak, 92, of Acushnet died August 31, 2014 at St. Luke's Hospital after a brief illness. She was the wife of the late Michael S. Lesiak.
Born in New Bedford, the daughter of the late Francois and Alida (Dupont) Lapointe, she lived in New Bedford and Taunton before moving to Acushnet 10 years ago.
Mrs. Lesiak was a communicant of St. Francis Xavier Church.
She was formerly employed as a bookkeeper at MCI Bridgewater for many years until her retirement.
Survivors include two sisters, Jeanne Olivier of Acushnet and Lillianne McKay of New Bedford; and she was a loving, generous aunt to over 50 nieces and nephews to the 4th generation.
She was the sister of the late Lucien Lapointe, Armand Lapointe, George Lapointe, Doris Masse, Lauretta Lapointe and Beatrice Lapointe.
Her Funeral will be held on Friday, September 5th at 8:30 AM from the Saunders-Dwyer Mattapoisett Home for Funerals, 50 County Rd., Route 6, Mattapoisett, followed by her Funeral Mass in St. Francis Xavier Church at 10 AM. Burial will follow in St. Joseph's Cemetery in Taunton. Visiting hours are omitted. In lieu of flowers, remembrances may be made to the Wounded Warrior Project, P.O.
