ALTON BAY, NH – William John Lionetta, 70, of 58 Riley Road, died Wednesday, August 27, 2014 in his home after a long illness.
He was born on October 4, 1943 in Somerville, MA, the son of the late Michael and Mary (Silva) Lionetta. Bill worked as an oil burner technician and manager for a number of companies, such as Lorraine Oil in Watertown, MA, Ossipee Oil in Wolfeboro, Ferns Energy in Alton Bay, Irving Oil in Bangor, ME and also George Stevens in Laconia. Most recently, Bill worked as a parts distributor for Irwin Motors in Laconia. He loved riding motorcycles and spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren.
He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Carol (Rhones) Lionetta of Alton Bay, two sons; William J. Lionetta Jr. and his wife Tracy of Alton Bay and Scott Lionetta of Alton Bay, one daughter, Vicki Rines and her husband Kevin of Center Harbor, six grandchildren; Sara and Adam Rines, Ashley and Michael Lionetta and Nicholas and Shannon Lionetta.
There will be no calling hours.
A celebration of Bill’s life will be held at 1PM on Saturday, October 4th, 2014 at his home, 58 Riley Road in Alton Bay.
