Litchfield– Linda J. Hebert, 66, died August 31, 2014 at her home surrounded by her family following a lengthy illness.
She was born in Manchester on April 22, 1948 the daughter of James and Irene (Laferte) Borthwick and had been a lifelong resident of the community.
Prior to her retirement she had worked for Insight Technologies in Londonderry.
She was devoted to her grandchildren.
Family members include her husband of 44 years, Roger Hebert of Litchfield, two daughters, Tammey Roy and her husband, James of Manchester, Tiffany Tenney and her husband, Ryan of Ft. Mills, SC., one son, Timothy Hebert and his fiancee, Anne Oswald of Litchfield, ten grandchildren, one brother, Robert Borthwick and his wife, Theresa of Litchfield.
She was predeceased by a sister Diane Borthwick.
A memorial reception will be held on Thursday from 4 to 7 PM at J. N. Boufford & Sons Funeral Home, 110 Bridge St. A prayer service will take place at 6:30 during the reception.
Committal will be in NH Veterans Cemetery in Boscawen on Friday at 1:30 PM.
