TWITCHELL, Patricia (O'Brien) 84, of Wellesley Hills, died after a long illness on August 30th. Pat grew up in Arlington, MA. She graduated from Emmanuel College with the class of 1951. Upon graduation, she worked at Harvard Medical School as a lab technician in the bacteriology department. At that time, Pat met Dr. Thomas Twitchell. They were married in 1956 and enjoyed 58 years together. She was a loving mother and devoted friend. Pat threw memorable dinner parties, was a passionate homemaker, and an excellent cook. She enjoyed vacationing with her family every summer in Chatham, MA.
Pat is survived by her husband and her four daughters, Carol Gagosian and her husband Stephen of Wellesley, Susan Twitchell of Falmouth, Mauyra Twitchell of Charlestown, and Evelyn Twitchell and her husband Lance Esplund of Brooklyn, N.Y. Grandmother of Christina, Julia, and Robert Gagosian. Sister of Marguerite O'Keefe of Thousand Oaks, CA, and the late John O'Brien.
Visiting hours in the George F. Doherty & Sons Funeral Home, 477 Washington St. (RT. 16), WELLESLEY, Tuesday from 10am-12noon followed by a funeral service at 12noon in the funeral home.
