FRAMINGHAM: Kenneth M. Kelsoe, 99, died peacefully and comfortably at his daughter’s residence in Framingham on Wednesday, August 27, 2014 following a period of declining health.
Kenneth was born in Boston on January 28, 1915 the son of the late Evan M. Kelsoe and Amanda (Samuelson) Kelsoe.
He was the beloved husband for 47 years of the late Louise C. (Harrington) Kelsoe who died on May 19, 1994.
He is survived by his beloved daughters, Kathleen L. Bond and her husband Michael Bond of Framingham and Patricia A. Kelsoe of Natick. Cherished grandfather of Ashley Nicole Bond; Maeghan Amanda Bond; Jason Michael Bond and Ryan Alexander Bond all of Framingham and Marcus Patrick Kelsoe of Natick. Also survived by several nieces and nephews. Brother of the late Wilbur Kelsoe; Leonard Kelsoe and Alfred Kelsoe.
Kenneth has been a resident of Framingham for the past several years with his daughter and her family. He resided in Cochituate for over 65 years and spent his formative years in Framingham. He graduated from Framingham High School with the Class of 1939.
He retired after over 45 years as a dedicated machinist with the H. P. Hood and Sons in Charlestown. He enjoyed doing many projects around his home and spending time at garage and yard sales. He was a loving and devoted husband, father and grandfather to his family and will always be remembered as Papa and Mr. K to all of those who knew and loved him.
Visitations will be held on Tuesday, September 2, 2014 from 11:30 until 12:30 at the John C. Bryant Funeral Home, 56 Pemberton Road (Off Rte 30), Cochituate. His funeral services will be at 12:30 pm at the funeral home. Interment will follow in the Kelsoe family lot in Lakeview Cemetery, Cochituate.
