Obituary

GLOUCESTER – Theresa Guida Frasier, 90, passed away late Wednesday evening, August 20, 2014, at the Seacoast Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, with her daughters and granddaughter by her side. She was the wife of the late Charles R. Frasier, who died in August of 2001.
Born in Williamsburg Brooklyn, New York on February 18, 1924, she was the daughter of the late Saverio and Margaret (Winkler) Guida. She graduated from PS 122 in Williamsburg NY. She had resided in Fort Montgomery, NY and Glens Falls NY before moving to Gloucester to be close to family.
Theresa, also known as Tess, worked as a civilian for the United States Military Academy at West Point and retired in 1981. She also worked at various part time jobs as bookkeeper and was a real estate broker in her retirement.
Along with her husband, Chuck, Tess enjoyed traveling and spending time with family. She also enjoyed gardening, cooking and was always learning new things including computer, yoga, art, genealogy, and more.
Tess was a quiet and caring woman who was a good listener and always sensed if you had troubles and needed to talk. She was always willing to help out her family. She was a caring mother and grandmother and will be greatly missed.
She is survived by her daughters, Theresa Frasier Whitmore and her husband, James, and their two children, John and Emily, and Carol Frasier Allen and her husband, Jaymes, and their two children, Jordan and Colby all of Gloucester; her brother, Peter, of Glens Falls, NY as well as many nieces, nephews, and other extended family. She was also predeceased by her brothers, Joseph and William.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, September 27th at Wiawaka on Lake George, NY. In lieu of flowers, her family asks that you consider performing a random act of kindness.
