Mr. John C. LaRue, Jr., 90, of Lawrence, Massachusetts passed away on Monday, August 25th, 2014 at his home surrounded by his loving family.
He was born on February 23rd, 1924 in Lawrence, Massachusetts, son of the late John C. and Sarah (Fontaine) LaRue. John was educated in the local schools of Lawrence and was a graduate of Boston College. He served in the United States Army during WWII, where he received the Bronze Star.
John worked as an Iron Worker in Boston for the Local #7 Union. He attended Saint Lucy's Church in Methuen, MA.
He enjoyed spending time with his loving family, especially summers at the beach after his retirement.
He was the Loving Husband of 60 years to the late Margaret E. (Napolitano) LaRue.

1 Grandchild: Sarah Goodwin Martinath and her husband Jeffrey Martinath of Hinsdale, IL.
3 Great Grandchildren: Serena, Ryan and Kayci Martinath
As well as several nieces and nephews. His beloved dog Missy.
