Paul H. Fredericks, 88, of Derry, NH passed away peacefully on Friday, August 22, 2014 at the Pleasant Valley Nursing Center in Derry. He was born on August 18, 1926 in Boston, MA a son of the late Emil H. and Sadie (Trueman) Fredericks. Mr. Fredericks proudly served his country during WWII in the US Army. He was an iron worker at West End Iron Works out of Cambridge for over 25 years. He was a member of the Quincy Local IBIM, Shopmen’s Local Union No. 501, and the International Association of Bridge, Structural Ornamental and Reinforcing iron Workers. Mr. Fredericks was a master Mason with the Simon W. Robinson Lodge A.F. & A.M., in Lexington, MA. He loved puzzles, reading, playing the guitar and singing with his sister and brother-in-law.
He is survived by several nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews. He was predeceased by his three siblings, Arthur Fredericks, Evelyn Munroe and Kathleen McCreedy.
A calling hour will be held on Tuesday, August 26, 2014 from 1:00 2:00pm in the Peabody Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 15 Birch Street, Derry with a Masonic service to begin at 2:00pm. Burial with Military honors will follow at Forest Hill Cemetery, East Derry.
