Barbara Ann Glynn, 72, of Manchester passed away August 21, 2014 surrounded by her loving family.
Born in Manchester on June 20, 1942, she was the daughter of Herbert and Ella (Hardy) Merrill. She was educated in local parochial schools.
Prior to retirement, Barbara had been employed in various departments by the Catholic Medical Center for many years.
She enjoyed solving crossword puzzles, playing bingo and card games. She will be remembered as a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and sister who cherished time with family.
Family members include her loving husband of 45 years, Robert J. Glynn Jr. of Manchester; four sons, Robert Leiter of Goffstown, James Leiter and wife Sue of Manchester, Thomas Glynn and wife Teresa of Haverhill, MA, David Glynn of Atkinson; two daughters, Linda Ramsdell and husband Ronald of Maine, Deborah Martin and husband Jack of Florida; 13 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren; brother, Albert Merrill and wife Diane of California; sisters, Dorothy Perreault of Northwood, Patty Merrill; aunt, Hope Lockrow; nephews, nieces and cousins.
The funeral service was held on Wednesday, August 27, 2014 in the chapel at Lambert Funeral Home & Crematory, 1799 Elm St, Manchester. Burial followed in St. Joseph Cemetery, Bedford.
