Suffield, CT – Yvette E. (Houle) Pepin, age 85, passed away on Monday, Aug. 18, 2014, surrounded by her loved ones. She was predeceased by her husband, Raymond J. Pepin. She was born on April 9, 1929 in Chicopee, a daughter of the late Roland and Blanche (Desrosier) Houle. She was a communicant of the former Assumption Parish. She leaves 3 sons, Raymond Pepin and his wife Nancy of Chicopee, David Pepin and his wife Wendy of South Hadley, and Scott Pepin and his wife Elizabeth of Westfield; 1 daughter, Lisa Fernandes and her husband Matthew of Granby; 1 sister Suzanne Clapp and her husband Richard of Chicopee; 7 grandchildren, Tara Laizer, Lindsay Pepin, Captain Jeremy Pepin, Matthew Pepin, Samantha Pepin, Jessica Fernandes and Joshua Fernandes along with her beloved great grandchildren Emilie Laizer and Hunter Laizer, and her long time companion, Mike Shilosky. She is predeceased by her sister Jeannette Boucher. Calling hours will be held on Thursday, Aug. 21, 2014 from 4:00-7:00 p.m. at the Grise Funeral Home, 280 Springfield St, Chicopee. Funeral service will be Friday, Aug. 22, 2014 at 9 a.m. in the Grise Funeral Home followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in Assumption Church at 10:00 a.m. Burial will take place in Calvary Cemetery.
