Rose E. Wilder, 86 of Medford, died Wednesday after a long illness in the Wingate at Reading.
Born in Boston, she was a lifelong resident of Medford and was the daughter of the late Catherine (Guerra) and Frank Siciliano.
Rose was an Executive Secretary with the former Shawmut Bank in Boston for 22 years. She was a member of the St. Raphael Senior Club, Former South Medford Mother’s Club, a lifetime member of the Ladies Auxiliary DVA Chapter 21and an avid Red Sox fan.
Beloved wife of the late William S. Wilder Sr. Devoted mother of Helen DiLena and her husband Joseph of North Reading, William "Billy" Wilder and his wife Jeanne, John F. Wilder and his wife Dottie all of Medford. Loving grandmother of Laurel Wilder-Chaison, John W. Wilder and Caitlin DiLena. Sister of Helen Masci and her husband Romelo "Mac" of Medford and the late Teresa Mazzotta, Mariangela and Anthony Siciliano. Also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Funeral from the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., MEDFORD Saturday at 9 AM followed by a funeral mass celebrated in St. Raphael Church, 512 High St., Medford, at 10 AM. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours Friday 4-8. Services will conclude with burial at Oak Grove Cemetery, Medford.
