Mary A. (Ingram) White, 96, of Alexandria died Sunday, August 17, 2014 at her residence after an brief illness.
She was born September 14, 1917 in Nemrod, Texas to William and Mollie (Reeves) Ingram.
She worked housekeeping at St. John's Hospital for 14 1/2 years before retiring in 1982.
She attended Parkview Church of the Nazarene. She lived in Clinton, Ark until 1949; moved to Daleville then relocated to Anderson in 1958.
She enjoyed Scrabble, crossword puzzles and spending time with her family.
She is survived by her four children, Roger Lloyd Lunsford; Jessie Marie (Orvin) McQueary; Calvin Zion (Raydean) Lunsford; Clayton Clyde Lunsford; sister, Hazel Love; fifteen grandchildren; twenty-three great grandchildren; seventeen great great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, George Lunsford; second husband, Lester White in 1975; son, William Earl Lunsford; brother, Clyde Ingram; three sisters, Opal Ingram; Golie Starcher and Chloie Berry; two grandsons, Frankie Lee Ashby and Brandon Hester.
Service will be held at 12 noon on Thursday, August 21, 2014 at Rozelle-Johnson Funeral Service with Pastor Dan Alexander officiating. Burial will be in East Maplewood Cemetery.
Visitation will be Thursday from 10 am until the service at noon at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be given to Parkview Church of the Nazarene.
