Frederick Matthew Kennedy
New York City, NY – Frederick Matthew Kennedy, 31, passed away in New York City on August 11, 2014. He was the son of Jaqueline Phenix Kennedy and the late F. Frederick Kennedy, Jr.
He was predeceased by his paternal grandparents, Judge Frederick and Evelyn Kennedy of Augusta and his maternal grandparents, Fabien and Irene Phenix of Fall River, MA.
In addition to his mother he is survived by his brother, Andrew Kennedy of Chassell, MI and many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
Frederick was a graduate of Westminster Schools of Augusta and attended California State University in Fullerton, CA as a championship debater. He was brilliant and had a creative passion for photography, which he was developing into a career.
A graveside memorial service will be Thursday, August 28, 2014 at 11:00 A.M. in the Summerville Cemetery with Fr. Tom Murphy officiating.
In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory may be made to the Boys and Girls Club of Augusta at 206 Milledge Road, Augusta, GA 30904.
