EASON- Of Melrose, formerly of Malden, August 8th. Devoted son of the late George R. and Theresa (Procopio) Eason. Beloved brother of Helen Blundell of Malden, Jeanne Scott and her husband Barry of Saugus and Frank Eason and his wife Cheryl of Pelham, New Hampshire. Also lovingly survived by many nieces and nephews. Family and friends are kindly invited to attend a Celebration of George's Life on Friday, August 22nd from 6-8 PM in the Carroll Funeral Home, 721 Salem Street, (Maplewood Square) MALDEN. A long time resident of Malden, until moving to Melrose in 2003, George passed away at Tufts Medical Ceneter in Boston at the age of 74. A sports buff for all of his life, for over 20 years worked as a maintenance engineer at the Americana Condminiums here in Malden.
