Obituary

Brewster - Mrs. Dorothy (Scricco) DeLuca, 88, passed away Tuesday August 11th at the Pleasant Bay Nursing Home.
Dorothy is survived by four sons, Edward J. DeLuca Jr. and his wife Mary of CT., Frank DeLuca of Bourne, Ma., John DeLuca and his wife Diana of Florida, Robert DeLuca of Florida; a daughter, Elaine Powers and her husband Steven of Florida; one sister, Elaine Clark and her husband Albert of Canada; five grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
She was pre-deceased by her brothers, Robert Scricco and Felix Scricco
Dorothy was born March 23, 1926 in Worcester, Massachusetts a daughter of the late Felix and Anna (Marcimo) Scricco.
She worked as a nurse for many years, and most recently worked for Venice Nursing Pavilion in Venice, Florida as a nurse administrator up until her retirement. Dorothy loved to cook and kept an immaculate home. She took great pride in her homemaking.
Dorothy enjoyed playing cards and watching old western movies. The family would like to thank the staff at Pleasant Bay Nursing Home for their professionalism, courtesy, and caring of their mom.
A graveside service will be held for Dorothy on Thursday August 14th at 1:15pm in the Gospel section of St John’s Cemetery, 260 Cambridge St. Worcester, MA. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to the Harwich Council on Aging, 100 Oak St. Harwich, Ma. 02645. Funeral arrangements under the direction of FAZIO FUNERAL HOME, directors, Louis M. Fazio Jr. and Louis M. Fazio III.
