Laconia---Kilda C. Elliott, 97, of 406 Court Street, formerly a 45 year resident of 14 Kingsley Avenue, Weirs Beach, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on Monday, August 4, 2014 at Lakes Region General Hospital.
Mrs. Elliott was born July 29, 1917 in Rochester, N.H., the daughter of the late Ovide and Louisa (Roulx) Castonguay. She resided in Rochester for several years before moving to Weirs Beach in 1961.
Mrs. Elliott was a former communicant of Our Lady of the Lakes Church, Lakeport.
Survivors include her daughter, Jean Badger, of Belmont; a grandson, Glen Badger and his wife Kristy of Meredith, three step-grandchildren; Keith Badger of Warner, David Badger of Anchorage, Alaska and Loretta Margaritis of Franklin, one brother, Norman Castonguay of Lebanon, Maine2 great grandchildren and many nephews and nieces. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Elliott was predeceased by her husband, Harry A. Elliott, in 1988 and three brothers and two sisters
There will be no calling hours.
A Graveside Service will be held on Friday, August 22, 2014 at 10 AM at the family lot in Bayside Cemetery, Laconia, N.H.
