Robert Edward Kelley, 79, of Manchester died August 9th, 2014 surrounded by his loving family.
Born in Manchester on December 19, 1934, he was the son of Francis and Regina (Mailloux) Kelley. He was educated in the local school system and served in the US Army National Guard.
Prior to retirement, he had been a route salesman for Kelley Refreshment Services for many years.
Robert loved to travel and recently had enjoyed coin collecting. He was a dedicated New England sports fan and cherished being a family man. Above all else, he will be remembered as a loving and devoted husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather who will be missed by all who knew him.
His family would like to thank the staff at the Community Hospice House in Merrimack for their wonderful care during the final stages of his life and for preparation into his final journey.
He was predeceased by two brothers Edward and Francis Kelley and one sister Doris Scott.
Family members include his wife of 60 years, Jeannine F. (Chapdelaine) Kelley of Manchester; his children, Ronald and Sheila Kelley of Manchester, Diane and Jack McLaughlin of Myrtle Beach, SC, Jayne Kelley of California, Raymond and Valerie Kelley of Tamworth; grandchildren, Brandie, Robert, Harley, Eric, Sharon, and Patrick; great-grandchildren, Kayla, Ethan, Sadie, and Morgan.
A Mass of Christian burial was celebrated on Wednesday, August 13, 2014 in St. Anthony of Padua Church. Committal prayers followed in the mausoleum at Mt. Calvary Cemetery.
