Samuel M. Tatum, 54, of Worcester, passed away Monday, August 4th. He leaves four brothers, James Tatum of Worcester, Henry Tatum of Dudley, and Heacliff and Spencer Tatum, both of Worcester; four sisters, Margaret Ashton of Worcester, Khalidah Paskel of Stockton, CA, Tina Tatum of Worcester, and Barbara Tatum of Miami, FL; two sons, Adrien and Aaron Hampton; nephews and nieces.
He was born in Cambridge, the son of James and Nannie (Wells) Tatum and lived here all his life. Mr. Tatum graduated from North High School and was a member of Belmont A.M.E. Zion Church.
Calling hours are from 3:00 until 5:00 P.M. Wednesday, August 13th in O’CONNOR BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME, 592 Park Avenue. A service will follow at 5:00 P.M. in the funeral home. Donations in his memory may be made to Belmont A.M.E. Zion Church, 55 Illinois Street, Worcester, MA 01610.
