Basilia Arria, 82 of Medford, died Thursday after a brief illness in the Lighthouse Nursing Care Center, Revere, MA.
Born in Italy, she lived in Medford for many years and was the daughter of the late Carmela (Auditore) and Gaetano Micalizzi. Basilia was a Stitcher, in the Boston area for many years and retired 17 years ago.
Beloved wife of the late John Arria. Devoted mother of Joseph Arria and his wife Gail of Winthrop, Guy Arria and his wife Maria of Medway. Loving grandmother of Johnny and Sean Arria.
Funeral from the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., MEDFORD Monday at 11 AM followed by a funeral mass celebrated in St. Raphael Church, 512 High St., Medford, at 11:15 AM. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend and may visit with the family from 10-11 AM. Services will conclude with entombment at Holy Cross Chapel Mausoleum, Malden.
