Obituary

Anna Marie(McLatchey) Ruggles, of Plymouth, died on August 6th at Beth Israel - Plymouth at the age of 89, surrounded by her loving family. Wife of the late Chester Ruggles, she is survived by her daughter Deborah Acorn - Mooney and her husband Peter Mooney of Carver. Known as Gam to her cherished grandson Randy Acorn and her great granddaughter Iris Acorn both of Carver. Mother of the late Donald Gillis.
Anna was born in Norwood, daughter of the late George and Nellie (Conroy) McLatchey. The youngest of eleven siblings, she is survived by many nieces and nephews who gave her the nickname of "AnnieBaby".She graduated from Norwood High School and Dean Junior College and was an organ teacher. She enjoyed music, gardening, boating and especially spending time with her family. She was a member of the Plymouth Yacht Club and the Coast Guard Auxiliary.
Visiting hours will be held on Sunday August 10th at the Richard Davis Funeral Home, 373 Court St (Rt 3A), N. Plymouth from 4 to 7 PM. A funeral service will be held at the funeral home on Monday August 11th at 11 AM followed by burial at Plymouth County Cemetery.
