WORCESTER-Helen A. (Motejaitis) Jacobson 86 of 1425 Main Street died Monday October 29th in her home. Her husband Louis J. Jacobson died in 1985. She leaves a son John L. Jacobson of Millbury and 2 granddaughters Alanna Jacobson of Flagler Beach, FL and Elizabeth Miner of Worcester; a great grandaughter Lacy Miner of Worcester.
She was born in Waterbury, CT the daughter of Peter and Valorie (Aukstakulnis) Motejaitis and had lived in Worcester for many years. She was educated in Waterbury, CT. Mrs. Jacobson had been a housemother for many years for the Worcester Children’s Friends and had also been a clerk at the former McGuiness Department Store in Worcester. She was a member of Our Lady of the Angels Parish and it’s Tuesday Afternoon Club.
The funeral will be Friday November 2nd from O’Connor Brothers Funeral Home, 592 Park Avenue with a mass at 10:00 AM in Our Lady of Lourdes Church, 1290 Grafton Street. Burial will be in St. John’s Cemetery. Calling hours at the funeral home are Thursday November 1st from 5:00 until 9:00 PM.
