MYRNA KESSLER
Myrna Kessler passed away on August 6, 2014. Born in 1938, Myrna spent the beginning of her early childhood in Chicago. In 1951 she and her family took the train to California where she lived the remainder of her years. She married the love of her life Ed Kessler in 1959 and they had 2 children, Julie and Jeff. Myrna has always loved working with kids and many of them consider her their "2nd Mom". She was the PTA President for Perry Elementary School in Torrance, CA., worked with children in special education, was a Scout Leader for many years and was the co-president of the Buena High School Marching Band Boosters Club. Her wit, wisdom, heart and no nonsense approach to life will be missed dearly. She is survived by her beloved husband Ed Kessler; son Jeff Kessler; daughter Julie and son-in-law Gary (whom she loved as a second son); her very special grandson Spencer Billingsly; brother and sister-in-law Ed and Bonnie Tucker and Gabby Jurado, Doug and Olga Tucker,Cindy, ,Steve, Kat, and Azurdee Clark, Bryan Cline; sister Trudy.
We will be celebrating her life Monday August 11, 2014 at 12 Noon in JOSEPH P. REARDON FUNERAL HOME 757 E. Main Street Ventura followed by Interment in Ivy Lawn Memorial Park, Ventura.
