Bruce Albert Duncan
January 14, 1932- August 4, 2014

Bruce Albert Duncan, 82, of Anderson passed away August 4, 2014 at St. Vincent Hospice in Indianapolis. He was born January 14, 1932 in Indianapolis but was raised in Windfall and graduated from Windfall High School Class of 1950.

Bruce joined the Air Force in March of 1951 and served in Korea near Wonju with the 18th Fighter Bomber Wing, as a surgical technician from December 1951 to October 1952. He was also stationed at Kirksville, Missouri with the 790th AC/W Squadron. He was honorably discharged in March of 1955.

He was a member of the Tipton County Historical Society and the Windfall Alumni Association. He lived in Anderson and a while in Henry County.
Bruce retired from Delco Remy as a Quality coordinator after over 42 years of service.

Bruce enjoyed reading and studying his family history and other family history...being with his family meant so much to Bruce.

Bruce is survived by his loving wife Audrey T. (Bertram) Duncan; his son Jeffery D. Duncan; daughter, Jeaniene R. (Jeffery) Garrison; grandson, Christopher James Garrison; nephews, Patrick O'Riley of New Hampshire; Robert E. and John Paul Duncan, Jr.; Mickiel Lee Duncan ; nieces, Sharon Sue Everling; Norma Jo Rowell and Vicky Sue Duncan; step children, Jeffery Goff; Kelly Ward; Christopher Goff; Julie (Scott) Walker of Anderson; grandchildren, Ashley R. (Patrick) Hoffman; Ryan Tuttle; Austin A. Tuttle; in-laws, Tom and Gloria Riddle; Vicky Webb; near Greensboro, IN; Sam and Lois Bertram of Cookeville, TN; Agatha Zambos of Middletown and Carolyn Riley of Scottsdale, Ariz.; and Alice Bertram of New Castle; great grandchildren, Ethan & Addisyn Hoffman; Brayden Tuttle; step grandchildren, Taylor and Maya Walker; nieces & nephew of wife; Janet Long Watts; David Long, sister-in-law, Wanda Long; a grand niece and numerous other relatives. Bruce loved his first wife and her family.

Bruce was preceded in death by his first wife, Velma Joan (Long) Duncan; mother, Della Mae Francis Duncan; siblings, Francis Eugene Duncan; John Paul Duncan; Mary V. Duncan; Margaret A. Cook and Charles T. Duncan; special friend, Doyle A. Barnes; in-laws, Gerald Bertram; Marilyn Laurie; Charlotte Overton and Cletis Bertram; parents and Baisel Bertram; brothers-in-law Harold Long and Thomas Long.

Service will be 3:00 P.M. on Saturday, August 9 at Rozelle-Johnson Funeral Service with Pastor Paul Davis officiating. Burial will be at Brookside Cemetery in Windfall.

Visitation will be from 1 p.m. until 3 p.m. at the funeral home.

Memorial contributions may be given to American Heart Association or American Cancer Society.
