Clyde G. Earle, 76, of Littleton, ME and Florida, passed away Monday, August 4, 2014 at Brigham and Women’s Hospital, Boston, MA following a courageous battle with mesothelioma. Mr. Earle retired from Lucent Technology as a supervisor in 1989 after many years of service. He previously co-owned and operated a Sawmill in Hampstead, NH, an Auto Repair Shop in Haverhill, MA, and was a heating contractor in Sandown, NH. In his younger years, he was a cook at Camp Tel-Noah in Hampstead. Mr. Earle was a US Army veteran.
He is survived by his wife, Audrey A. (Parker) Earle; two children, Pamela Marsh and Clyde W. Earle; four grandchildren, Brad, Kellie, Kristan, and Chad; two great grandchildren, Kamaya and Nathan; four step-children, William Thompson Jr., Todd Thompson, Roxanne Ellsworth and her husband Lester, and Mathew Bolstridge and his wife Becky; step-grandchildren, Laura, Michael, Katelyn, Kristina, Kyle, Ean, Owen, and Allyson; three brothers, John Foley and his wife Claire, Peter Foley, and Donald Foley and his wife Judy; two aunts, Winnie Howlett and Claire Burditt; cousins, Karleen and Joe Monroe, and Juanita and Frank Arrington; as well as numerous nieces, nephews and extended family whom he loved dearly. He was predeceased by his mother Margaret Beckford; the mother of his children Eileen Patterson; Pamela Shaw who was a surrogate mother to his children; as well as his uncle Wallace Earle.
Calling hours were held on Saturday, August 9, 2014 from 9 – 11am in the Peabody Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 15 Birch Street, Derry. Funeral services followed at 11:00am in the funeral home. The burial followed in Lakeview Cemetery, Hampstead.
